Last year, Nurse Laura worked with a few of her nurse peers to found the National Clinical Director Consortium to support the role of Clinical Directors across the country. This group works to ensure access to healthcare professionals (nurses, pharmacists and cannabis providers) knowledgeable in plant medicine for patients, dispensary staff, and other providers. We meet monthly to cover topics Clinical Directors deal with as part of their roles working with dispensaries.
Our Board consists of nurses, pharmacists, and provider level cannabis professionals who work to advocate for standards and protocols to keep our patients safe and healthy. The Board presented at multiple conferences last year (2021) and is scheduled for more than a handful of presentations this year.
